First printing. Excellent history of the spectacular triumphs and devastating tragedies of the self-educated engineer. Though no stranger to controversy, Mulholland deserves this clear assessment after the politically-inspired, vitriolic, foam-at-the-mouth "fictionalization" of his character in Roman Polanski's otherwise fine 1975 film noir, "Chinatown." A fine copy in fine dust jacket.
